Thanksgiving is almost here but if you’re like many people the thought of cooking a Thanksgiving Turkey probably doesn’t excite you. Thankfully, there are a wide variety of restaurants where you can enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner in Portland Oregon including the following:

Go the traditional route at the refined by fun Oaxacan-inspired restaurant Alto Bajo: a roasted turkey dinner with foie gras stuffing, green bean casserole, and cranberry jelly. Or get braised turkey in mole roko, with chile spiced brussels with toasted Oregon hazelnuts, and calabaza rostizada. Each dinner costs a low $35, with reservations available at the website.

This neighborhood cafe in Hawthorne starts serving midday, from noon until 8 p.m., with reservations still available throughout the day. The menu is à la carte with suggested wine pairings, and includes a turkey dinner with pine nut stuffing and “all the goodies” for $45. Reservations are accepted by phone.

It’s not offering a special Thanksgiving dinner, but the flourishing Chinese restaurant Duck House will be open all day, serving its delicious dumplings and noodles for anyone who wants to escape the turkey and mashed potato madness. Peking duck is also on the menu.

A fun gastropub with an old-school vibe, Interurban will be serving a special Thanksgiving menu, including a hot brown roasted turkey. The bar is open late, until 2:30 a.m., so you can come get a warm dinner and a cold drink even if you’re working on the holiday.
