Coffee is one of those things in Portland Oregon that’s as important as beer and Joe Nazir understood this immediately when he first visited here in the 90’s and ultimately opened this ToV coffee bus.

Located at SE 32nd & Hawthorne Boulevard, Portland, OR 97214.

The bus alone brings in people by default on a daily basis because few people have ever stepped foot on a double-decker bus but, it’s the real Egyptian coffee that keeps them coming back.

About Joe Nazir

Joe’s family immigrated to the United States in the late 1990’s and ultimately settled in Portland where he finished high school and went to college in the area.

Nazir fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and couldn’t get Portland out of his mind after he graduated from college. His love for the city brought him back to PDX.

He soon began investigating the possibility of opening an Egyptian style coffee shop here due to thanks to Portland’s love affair with coffee.

Opening a coffee cart was a possibility but Joe wanted more than just an average cart, he wanted an actual coffee shop on wheels and that led him to his double-decker bus which he found online for sale in Portland.

The bus was an old tour bus from the San Diego area and he automatically knew that it would be a good fit for his coffee shop idea since most coffee houses in Portland wouldn’t be nearly as unique.

Launching ToV Coffee

Pronounced “TOE-v”, which also means beautiful, Joe’s coffee shop on wheels immediately took off and has attracted coffee lovers from around the PDX area.

At ToV coffee, Joe will fix you a wonderful Turkish style coffee but you can also enjoy tea and lots of traditional favorites every day of the week.

Since he launched ToV, Joe has seen other businesses get started around the Pacific Northwest which incorporate double-decker buses but for now, there’s only the original double-decker bus in Portland Oregon, ToV coffee, where people can get their coffee, pastries and more 7 days a week.
