If so, the good news is that there are a variety of restaurants that are offering special takeout and delivery options for Mother&#8217;s Day this year.<\/p>\n<p id=\"OGQUTLN4JRAPLJUTGV5GFN6BZY\" class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\"><b>Ava Gene\u2019s and Tusk<\/b><\/p>\n<p id=\"4OW6YSLC7NF6BKF24PWSQPW7KE\" class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\">For nearly two months, these two Submarine Hospitality Group restaurants have been operating out of the Ava Gene\u2019s kitchen, serving greatest hits from both their menus\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oregonlive.com\/coronavirus\/2020\/03\/one-of-portlands-most-anticipated-restaurants-opened-early-for-takeout-and-coronavirus-is-to-thank.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">alongside pizzas from the upcoming Cicoria<\/a>. Both have great brunches, but Ava Gene\u2019s will take the lead this weekend, offering a Mother\u2019s Day \u201cbreakfast in bed\u201d box with take-n-bake potato gratin, asparagus with goat cheese strata, olive oil cake with strawberries and malted whipped cream, mimosa kits and bouquets from Solabee.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.avagenes.com\/\">Pre-order online<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.avagenes.com\/\">avagenes.com<\/a>\u00a0Thursday morning for pickup Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 3377 S.E. That means scrambles, omelets, waffles and French toast, all available for delivery or takeout at 3610 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd. Call 503-239-4756 to order.<\/p>\n<p id=\"VV2374JRSFGQBBXWVIF5YPDVXY\" class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\"><b>Bullard<\/b><\/p>\n<p id=\"7E4VRMGR2FH2RKP2X75G5ITMNQ\" class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\">Chef Doug Adams and Jen Quist\u2019s Texas-inspired downtown Portland hotspot pivoted quickly to takeout family meals after the coronavirus crisis hit, and has served as a model for a number of other top Portland restaurants in the weeks since. Their nightly dinners sell out quickly \u2014 I was able to snag a fried chicken dinner\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.exploretock.com\/bullard\/\">from their website<\/a>\u00a0this week \u2014 but their two Mother\u2019s Day options are still available. Those include smoked brisket Texas red brunch enchiladas offered for curbside pickup at 813 S.W. Alder St. on Saturday, and a Mom\u2019s Day care package with a mimosa kit, rhubarb ginger coffee cake, a bouquet of flowers from Colibri and more available for delivery Sunday. Belmont St.. Those include potato gnocchi with morels, a half chicken and a lamb leg roast in the $28-$31 range (feeds 2-3). The staff would even let me take it away in a regular ceramic bowl, so long as I brought it back. But for Mother\u2019s Day, Kachka will offer gifts, meals, treats and more, all available for delivery in Portland or curbside pick up. Selections include a Mother\u2019s Day Brunch for two ($65) with a cured salmon salad, egg and onion pirog, roasted baby beets, a Little Gems salad and cheesecake-style chamomile zapekanka.
