The vintage Kennedy School building, with its Persian rugs and glass lanterns, will be fully open for the holiday. Each of its many bars and restaurants will be serving food and drinks throughout the day, with Christmas movies playing at the theater.<\/span><\/p>\n

The perennially open Radio Room is throwing an all-day Christmas celebration again this year. The bar will have a dinner menu running from its 9 a.m. opening until sold out\u2014when it will switch to a happy hour menu\u2014as well as a special brunch menu running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A limited amount of reservations will be accepted by calling (503) 287-2346, but most of the seats will be reserved for walk-ins, and guests can dine in the spacious interior or out on the heated patios.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nothing says Christmas like beer and sausage, at least if you\u2019re German. Prost, the popular German tap-house, is open for the holiday for those looking to escape with a crisp pint of lager. There won\u2019t be much in the way of specials, but plenty of holiday cheer to be had.<\/span><\/p>\n

The homey, hardwood-filled bar and restaurant Interurban will open for Christmas a few hours later than normal at 5 p.m. The bar will likely be cooking up a few rustic dinner specials, but nothing has been finalized at this point. Still, it\u2019s a nice, warm bar to spend a holiday in, whether with some friends or by oneself for a quiet dinner and\/or drink.<\/span><\/p>\n
