Claire Coffee is one of the most well-known Portland Oregon actresses thanks to her work on the hit television show Grim which was filmed here from 2011-2017.<\/p>\n
Like many actors and actresses who have filmed in Portland over the years, Claire decided to move here with her husband and young son in 2015 and her career continues to thrive as Portland has quickly become one of the most popular filming locations in the United States.<\/p>\n
About Claire Coffee<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\nClaire Coffee stars in NBC’s hit drama series Grimm as the seductive villainess Adalind Schade, nemesis to Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli).<\/em><\/p>\nIn addition to acting, Coffee writes a fun and relatable fashion blog called Full Disclothesure. <\/a><\/p>\nThings You Didn\u2019t Know About Grimm <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\nInspired by the iconic Grimm fairy tales, the show is about Nick Burkhardt, a Portland Oregon homicide detective who learns that he\u2019s actually a Grimm, a \u201cguardian\u201d who is responsible for keeping the balance between mythical creatures and humans.<\/em><\/p>\nThe show almost came to screens in 2008\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nGrimm had been in development for a while before it finally reached screens in 2011. As far back as 2008, a drama based on the Brothers Grimm from Stephen Carpenter was in development, but sadly that version of thing got nixed due to the writers\u2019 strike. Fortunately, the idea was from dead…<\/em><\/p>\nThe producers chose Portland because of its parks\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nFairy tales are quite often set in the woods and so anywhere Grimm would be set needed there to be a lot of woods nearby.
