They grow over 50 varieties of fruits and vegetables throughout the year on 800 acres of farmland, and they believe in sustainable farming. If all that wasn\u2019t enough, they put on a an amazing harvest festival each pumpkin season.<\/p>\n Pumpkins:\u00a0<\/strong>picking is advertised as being in October but check their availability online.<\/p>\n Things to do:<\/strong>\u00a0Check out their big red animal barn, the Patio Cafe\/Pumpkin Perk, Pumpkin Cottage Gift Shop, hayrides and hay pyramid, and the maize. All activities listed are free minus the cafe and coffee shop.<\/p>\n Tip:<\/strong>\u00a0When driving to the patch, make sure you go the full two miles after looping under the bridge (Watch for mile marker #2\u00a0on the right side of the road). In addition to picking your own gourd, you can also catch the last of the summer\u2019s flowers and veggies at the produce market. Don\u2019t miss the unique chance to make your own dirt babies, a little doll of mud and grass that helps kids learn how plants\u00a0grow.
